Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Service, including users you invite to your workspace. Breaching it is a material breach of the Terms.

2. What the Service is for

Managing your own renewable-energy projects — lifecycle, deadlines, registers, documents, financials — and drafting with AI assistance for that work. Use it lawfully and only for data you are entitled to handle.

3. You must not

Security and integrity

• Attempt to access another organisation's workspace or data, or probe/bypass tenancy isolation.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or defeat authentication, rate limits, or entitlement checks.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Introduce malware, or use the Service to attack any system.
• Scrape or bulk-extract data by automated means beyond the features we provide.

Content and conduct

• Upload content you have no right to upload, or that infringes someone's rights.
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, or deliberately false content.
• Upload personal data you have no lawful basis to process, or special-category data you do not need.
• Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your authority to act for an organisation.
• Share credentials, or resell/sublicense access without our written agreement.

Fair use

• Place a load on the Service that degrades it for others, or circumvent usage limits or AI credit counts.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, or to benchmark it for publication without our consent.

4. Using the AI responsibly

AI output is a draft, not advice. It is probabilistic, can be wrong, and may carry [TO CONFIRM] markers where a value could not be verified. You must:

• Read and verify every draft before you rely on it, file it, or send it to a third party — especially figures, dates, statutory references, and case citations.
• Resolve every [TO CONFIRM] marker against the source document.
• Not present AI output as professional advice, or as the work of a qualified professional.
• Not paste personal or confidential data into a prompt beyond what the task needs.
• Not use the AI to generate unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent material.

You are responsible for what you do with a draft. Filing an unverified AI output is your decision and your risk.

5. Real data and confidentiality

Only upload project data you are authorised to handle. If your data includes third-party personal data, you are the controller of it and must have a lawful basis — see the Data Processing Addendum.

6. How we enforce this

If we believe this policy has been breached we may investigate, and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access. Where the risk allows, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put it right. We act immediately and without notice where there is a serious security risk, a legal requirement, or a threat to other customers' data.

7. Reporting a problem

Report abuse, a security vulnerability, or suspected unauthorised access to support@urjaops.com. Please report vulnerabilities privately and give us a reasonable chance to fix them before disclosing publicly. We will not pursue action against good-faith security research that respects other customers' data and does not degrade the Service.
